The workshop many have been asking for. This brand-new intensive is designed for artists ready to scale up, take bold risks, and transform their approach to size and impact. With a smaller group and highly focused format, participants will receive plenty of one-on-one guidance and hands-on demonstrations.
Painting at Scale
Experience the shift that happens when you work large. Engage your whole body in the act of painting, using movement and gesture to create work with energy and presence.
Building Momentum
Learn how to begin without overthinking. Develop strategies to push past hesitation and keep your work evolving with clarity and direction.
Simplifying Complexity
Understand how to distill your compositions to their most powerful elements. Focus on what matters—and let go of what doesn’t.
Value, Color and Impact
Deepen your understanding of value and color relationships at scale, creating work that holds together from across the room as well as up close.
Assertive Mark-Making
Explore bold, confident mark-making techniques that bring structure, rhythm, and personality to your paintings.
Working Through Resistance
Identify where you get stuck and learn how to move through it. Replace hesitation with decisive action.
Seeing Your Work Clearly
Develop an editor’s eye for large-scale work. Learn when to push forward, when to pull back, and when a piece is complete.
Finishing With Authority
Bring your work to resolution with confidence. Leave with finished pieces that reflect a stronger, more assured artistic voice.

This 4-day workshop is designed to refine your artistic vision, elevate the strength of your work, and unlock new possibilities through a more intentional and disciplined approach to painting.
